How VisiBEElity works?
VisiBEElity system consists of fixed nodes, mobile nodes and
VisiBEElity server

A number of wireless fixed nodes are
installed in an environment to form a mesh VisiBEElity network.

Small mobile tags are attached to resources
like personnel, equipment, etc.

Once inside the mesh network coverage area,
mobile tags find their location with a proprietary algorithm and
report their attributes (location, speed and temperature ) to the
VisiBEElity server.

VisiBEElity server records the reported data
in a database and provides the results in a monitoring system in
real time.

How about RFID?
There are many solutions out there that use RFID to locate objects
in a in given environment. Such systems have shortcomings such as:

System can only sense a mobile object upon passing by a reader

last.
